Square Enix’s latest video of Sleeping Dogs shows more of Hong Kong and some of the other things Detective Wei Shen can do when he isn’t masquerading as a Triad member.
United Front Games added a fight club, street races, karaoke, cock fights, and… romance? Did the trailer just hint at dating sim elements? Sleeping Dogs will let players explore four districts in Hong Kong including Aberdeen, Central, North Point (which the team says feels more like Kowloon). The game is slated for release on August 14 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in North America. Square Enix plans to release Sleeping Dogs in Japan too and they’re just getting started on marketing the title with this obvious teaser site.
