Konami Celebrates Metal Gear’s 25th Anniversary With Another Music Collection

imageFive years ago, Metal Gear turned 20 and Konami released a Metal Gear music collection. The CD had songs and jazzy rearrangments from Metal Gear Solid 1-3 plus Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops.


Konami is creating a compilation of music from Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker fir the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary Metal Gear Music Collection. A song list has not been released, but Konami says it will have original tunes and arranged songs from the two titles.


Metal Gear 25th Anniversary Metal Gear Music Collection comes out in Japan on July 25.

    Why can’t we have this when Metal Gear is more popular in western countries than in Japan?

      The thing is, in Japan, it’s a completely standard practice for video game companies to release soundtracks of their games. In the West…..not so much.
