What kind of difficulty levels?  Difficulty levels “Enemy stat multipliers” or difficulty levels “Harder maps”?

Difficulty levels that are just enemy stat multipliers suck, because they never rebalance and that leads to random difficulty spikes.

Difficulty levels done right are awesome.

If this is anything like Devil Summoner PSP, the hardest difficulty level will actually be the original game’s difficulty level, so no balance problems (mind, I might say that the original game was pretty hard already), while the easier one will be a stat-decreaser for enemies.

This is going to be able to attract many new gamers who is afraid that this game is too difficult while still providing us old fans with the difficulty there.^^

Hardest difficulty, only way to play SMT.

Good this should make everyone happy. I prefer games to be difficult but not too difficult where I want to smash my game system.

    “…a demon that’s powered by StreetPass…”

Well, that would be weakest demon I will own right there. Unless people decide to pick up this title and the game gets a confirmation for localization.

It will make for some nice extra challenge. Ya know, using that demon alone to go from the beginning of the game until the end. Low level challenges? Ah, that’s child’s play compared to a “Overly weak powered by StreetPass in the west demon exclusive party member run”. Or since gamefaq’ers like to abbreviate stuff, a “OWPbSPitWDEPM Run”. It rolls right outta yer tongue!
