Dungeon-Fighter-LIVE-Main-ImageNexon’s console version of Dungeon Fighter Online is set for release on July 13, which is a little unusual since it’s coming out on a Friday instead of the usual Wednesday update cycle.

Dungeon Fighter Live: Fall of Hendon Myre is a hack and slash game based on the PC title of the same name. There are some changes like microtransactions are out of the XBLA release and only three classes: male slayer, male gunner, and female fighter. Softmax, the makers of Magna Carta 2 developed Dungeon Fighter Live, and added drop in multiplayer, even when you’re playing online. You can invite friends while you’re in the middle of a dungeon and when a buddy shows up you can trade items too.

Softmax also optimized the sprites in Dungeon Fighter Live for HD, specifically 720p, TVs. All skill effects have been renewed and the backgrounds have been enhanced.

  • It’s gonna be interesting to see what DFO fans play more hack-and-slash structured port and what they think of it.

you might be better off re-downloading since there’s been a lot of big updates since then. just last week they added male mage as well as the town changes and a lot of other major updates.

I find it funny how DFO now uses the new slayer sprites and this game uses the old. but will this game only have 3 classes, since there’s currently 9 of them. hm… i just don’t really know about this game… it looks nice, but i think i’ll stick to the mmo. besides i can’t wait until they add female slayer and the new dungeons they just announced for Dungeon & Fighter’s Season 3.

Everyday a new game is announced for the Xbox it gives me another thought of buying one…It also makes me wish money could be farmed like in a video game…Like without the real life drawback of going to jail for impaling people walking down the street<-Joke
Unfortunantly its the last system on my to get list ..3DS,Vita,Xbox and probably after I get an Xbox a "new Xbox 940 or something will appear just to spite me poo
