Thanks To Gundam, There’s A Dungeon Crawler With Heroes You Can See Fighting

Usually, first person dungeon crawlers are played completely through the heroes’ eyes. So, instead of seeing them in battle you see sword slashes and spell effects. But, the licenses for Kamen Rider, Gundam, and Ultraman are just too lucrative to have all of these characters in the back row.

In Lost Heroes, a crossover game that brings heroes together from all three titles, the perspective switches out of first person view when say Kamen Rider OOOs attacks so you can see him kick giant monster in the face.

Lost Heroes comes out for PSP and Nintendo 3DS on September 6.

they need to bring this game over here in the usa like now

Unfortunately, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Gundam are all not very popular individually in America.

Gundam’s the most popular, relatively, and it’s got none of the momentum it had when Wing first hit. Kamen Rider and Ultraman might as well not even exist over here.

Add to that the fact that dungeon-crawlers in this fashion are extremely niche and you have the kind of product that has no chance to be localized. Kind of unfortunate, it looks pretty decent.
