Meet The Knights And Champions In Ragnarok Tactics

By Spencer . July 11, 2012 . 3:30pm

Developed by ex-Flight Plan staff at ApolloSoft, Ragnarok Tactics takes the MMORPG setting and reinvents it for a strategy RPG. The story begins centuries after the Holy War when the Branshaldo Empire and Aura Republic reach an uneasy settlement. Peace doesn’t last long when factions rise and monsters attack causing Yuri, Toren, and Cynthia to step on to the battlefield.

Unfortunately, it looks like we’re going to have to wait until next time to see Burst Strikes (cooperative attacks with nearby allies) and powerful Overdrive attacks. Ragnarok Tactics comes out this fall and if you’re really curious there is a lengthy demo on Japan’s PlayStation Store, but it’s only in Japanese.

    When is this coming out?
and I LOVE YOU AKSYS. At least there are companies like AKSYS and XSEED localizing these PSP goodies.

    • No9

      It’s being localized? :o

      • Yep.

      • gaiahatergaia

Yeah, AKSYS and XSEED are on a roll man.

  • Safros9

This has a really nice artstyle. And I had no idea it was being localized… now if only Sony made these RPGs that are coming out available day one for the Vita. Not like Gungnir or Unchained Blades, one of which is a month old I believe.

  • Wow, looks interesing :D !! I always like this kind of games that take a different approach¬† from the main game ( Ragnarok Battle Offline flashbacks *¬¨* )

  • Carocaro4

I think I’m going to be the only person in a 100 mile radius to buy this game.¬†

Can’t wait for this. My SRPG addiction has returned, thanks to Gungnir….

  • Ex-Flight Plan eh? Always liked their portable Summon Night stuff and I heard Dragon Shadow Spell was pretty well done, so I’m interested. …besides it being a new PSP game of course! ;)
