New Class of Heroes: Chrono Academy has dozens of classes to chose from ranging from knight to idol. Since New Class of Heroes is out today, Acquire revealed four more jobs in the game. Doctors and Nurses specialize in recovery magic and can attack with books.

Prince and Princess are balanced attacking class that use swords plus learn healing spells.

Both of these are advanced classes, but you can unlock Prince/Princess instantly by forking over 500 yen ($6) for the Lovely Crown item. Acquire explains you can find the crown in the game, but players who want to be a princess now can purchase the Lovely Crown from PlayStation Network to unlock the job instantly. The Book of Hidden Feelings (also 500 yen) automatically unlocks the Tsundere class which uses daggers, recovery, and ice magic.

Players can also buy consumable recovery items like Angel Tears (200 yen for 5) that recovers incapacitated characters and a Small Bottle of Restoration (100 yen for 5) to restore HP for the party.

Damn it, the art for this is making me want to play it. (Cute things everywhere? Sign me up!)

Lol the prince is angel and the princess is devil there.^^

now the question is, will we see this game come over to the states or will it stay in japan? and also why would the princess be a devil?

  • Jirin

I think the question is, how long until games just ditch the game element and just turn into ‘pay for rewards’.  A game where you don’t do anything:  Just, pay $5, it says “Level up!”  Pay $20, “You got the Holy Sword!”  Pay $50, “You won the game!”

    *grumble* …good old days …. *grumble* …kids today… *grumble* …fifteen miles…

Uggh, this is just like the Ultimate Shortcut Bundle for Battlefield 3, that unlocked things you could’ve unlocked in-game yourself.

It cheapens the achievement of players who actually spent in-game effort.
