I have always wanted a fight stick but I am not sure if its worth it.

      There is no going back.

      When you do get one.

I play alot of BB and SC 5 and I plan on getting P4A,DoA 5, and TTT2 is it really that much better?

I bought a stick but don’t really use it… I’m pretty crappy with one so I usually just stick to a controller. I only play Tekken and MVC3 and I’m no pro so…

It’s neither better nor worse, just a matter of preference.

Buy a cheap one, force yourself to use it exclusively for about a month or so (so you have time to get a really good feel for it) and then make you mind up which your prefer.

Personally I prefer stick. It took me a while to get comfortable with it but these days I just find it a lot more enjoyable to use than pad.

It’s a lot better. The stick input is far more precise than an analog stick or d-pad, you can pull moves off with 100% accuracy. The typing input for buttons also helps with complex button inputs, typing a sequence in feels much more natural than moving your thumb around. There’s also hitting buttons simultaneously, For example Square and Circle is odd on a pad, as is Square, Triangle, R1, very easy to do with a stick.

What an awesome fightstick but I rather stick to the fightpad.

My Tekken 6 stick is still in really good shape, and I don’t really use it that much…haven’t really learned how. .~.
