Macross Mobile Game Is Part On Rails Shooter, Part Diva Dating Sim

Macross SP Cross de Culture is in the works for Mobage and unlike Namco Bandai’s other free to play games it doesn’t have card battles and it isn’t a RPG. With tap, flick, and drag controls players pilot a variable fighter and blast other mecha out of the sky. Players can earn better weapons from completing missions and team up with other players for boss battles.

That’s half of the game. Macross SP Cross de Culture also has a dating sim part where you can date divas like Ranka Lee. Namco Bandai will add this is a major update in the future.

Macross SP Cross de Culture is available now for Android devices 2.3.6 and up with an iOS version slated for release later on.

Lol, Macross team really is not doing things half assed there even for Mobile game lol.^^

This does looks great considering it is a mobile game there.^^

And I for one feel the part diva dating sim fits well with Macross.

edit: Hell, a rhythm game or Idolmaster piece in there would fit too. No sarcasm either, quite serious.

Well.^^ Macross main appeal has always been the diva there lol.^^

        • On-rail shooter + Rhythm game would be really nice for people who can’t read Japanese :D

And once again I curse Harmony Gold…

  • Guess I better wait for the iOS version. I recently tried CAVE’s bullet hell shooters on iOS and find them very accessible and fun to play (normally I play them on Xbox360).

I hope I can choose to play the on-rail portion without playing the dating part since I can’t read Japanese. The on-rail shooter called Dark Break on iOS is also pretty fun though not great.
