While shooters started coming back on mobile devices, most of those games are vertical scrolling shmups. SNK is throwing their hat in the ring with a port of Blazing Star, a horizontal shooter that’s kind of like R-Type. I think Blazing Star is better remembered for this…
… and since Blazing Star is a port it should have classic lines like "You fail it!" New for the mobile version is a mission mode that lets you select what stage you want to play. SNK also added a network ranking feature so you can see where you stand compared to the world.
