Picotto Knight Should Keep Dragon’s Crown Fans Busy For Now

By Spencer . July 31, 2012 . 10:29pm

imageWhile Picotto Knight from Ragnarok Odyssey developer Game Arts has a different art style, the gameplay sounds pretty similar. Picotto Knight is described as a hack and slash "belt scrolling action RPG." The game supports online play and even if you’re offline another character will join you.

The knights are called Cocoliods and there are over 1,000 types players can make with different color variations. You can further customize characters with different accessories and decorations. Game Arts is collaborating with other companies to make Picotto Knight style characters.

Picotto Knight supports 1-4 players and will be free to play with additional items available for purchase.

It sounds more like Dungeon Fighter Online. I’m a big fan of beat-em-up belt scrollers and being able to play them on the go would be great.

    Here’s Picotto Knight’s website btw.

    There are gameplay pics here:

  • Oh my, looks like Dragon’s Crown has some competition then.

I don’t want to said this but, it seems NiS and Game Arts supports Vita more than Sony themselve there lol.^_^

That’s not even close to being true.

It’s not quite an Amazon with legs that could demolish mountains… but if it’s a good beat-em-up, I think I’ll get along with it just fine.
