Namco Bandai’s Wii U Game, Tank! Tank! Tank!, Then And Now

By Spencer . August 15, 2012 . 4:00pm

Namco Bandai has Tank! Tank! Tank! lined up as a Wii U launch window title. Players drive tanks, scoop up weapon powerups, and work together to shoot each other or kaiju style creatures. New for the Wii U version is a mode where one person plays as one of the monsters, which sounds pretty neat.

Tank! Tank! Tank! didn’t have that when Namco Bandai released it in the arcades two years ago along with this promo video.

  • I don’t usually like to rag on a game’s graphics, but this is fugly.

    • On closer look, the WiiU version seems to have a higher resolution. Besides, how much graphical resources do you expect a casual game to use anyway? It’s a simple cartoonish game, and the visual style helps reinforce that style, if anything.

Yeah it has a campy look, which I think works for this gameplay.

I like the PS2, but this is 2 generations later, WTH happened?

Granted the visuals could be better but it dosen’t look as bad as some comments have said. And it still looks kind of fun anyways.

After keep playing the arcade version here and how the game is really fun to play there with friends, this game is probably going to be a Must Buy for Wii U there lol.^_^
