Sol Trigger, Imageepoch’s next role playing game for PSP, will finally come out on October 4 and you can try about an hour of it in September. A downloadable demo will be released, which starts with a four minute anime opening.

After the cutscene you jump right into the game with Farel, Ema, and Gustaf as your party. They snuck into the city and tapped into the guard’s radio. When you encounter your first enemy, Sol Trigger will go through a tutorial that explains how combat works. Overcharging attacks by infusing more Sol energy into them is one of the key systems in the game.

Imageepoch calls the tutorial scene "chapter zero." The demo continues with Chapter 1: Pride, which opens with a strategy meeting. Players will be able to continue the demo in Chapter 1 and crush a boss.
