Namco Bandai is on a Digimon explosion for the series 15th anniversary. They just released the PSP game, Digimon World Re: Digitize, and have Digimon Crusader slated for release on iOS this fall.
Digimon Crusader is a card RPG set on File Island. Digimon armies from all corners of the island have been in a perpetual struggle leaving the island in ruins. Unhappy with the state of the world, Ophanimon summons you – a crusader – to the Digital World. You get a pack of energy cards and are given the task of uniting the island.
When you get into battle, you can select three cards with the same color to attack. Just like the series, Digimon evolve and a side goal is creating the ultimate Digimon.
Digimon Crusader will be released for free this fall. The game will have in-game items available for purchase.
