Moe Kills Will Have To Wait A Month, Mugen Souls Has Been Delayed

By Spencer . August 22, 2012 . 10:10pm

NIS America pushed the North American release Mugen Souls back a month. Mugen Souls has been rescheduled for October 16 in North America. The European release is unaffected and PAL gamers will be able to conquer seven shimmering planets with Chou-Chou on September 28.

The "Moe Kill" reference in the title is actually an attack in Mugen Souls. Players can use this technique to enslave enemies or turn them into items. Making an army of peons is Chou-Chou’s favorite thing to do as she goes on a quest to make everyone bow to down to her.

I just found out Johnny Yong Bosch voices the main guy Ryuto in this game. Give Melissa Fahn (Gave, I suppose, sense Voice Acting is done) a major role and I may be interested. Hopefully the extra month will give them more incentive to reveal information like that.

Crediting the actors can depend on if this was done on scale. If not, the actors usually can not be publicly mentioned outside of an alias.

“Johnny Yong Bosch voices the main guy”… UGH FFS! *interest goes down rapidly* Why can’t they find some new VAs every once in a while!? -___-

a little disappointed (actually i feel like throwing whole couches lol) but the wait will do my wallet some good!!

  • Kitestwinblades

This works, My wallet is already in great peril for the month of September.
I’ll deal with you October Mugen Souls :3

As long as NISA release one of their Disgaea-esque games in fall sometime around September or October, they never really fail to meet their schedule. I remember when they release Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness right before Halloween.
    Perfect Timing XD

Now  I know how EUROPEAN GAMERS feel  :-(

  • Kawashima

I’m slightly dissapointed that it got delayed but why do the trailers for it have to be so annoying.

Prior to learning about the censorship, this would have bothered me. Now I can’t manage to really care.

Consider I originally defended the move so to speak, this may come as odd. But I share somewhat similar sentiments. I’ve heard recently that the censorship was by no means tiny and probably took around %20 of the game content out entirely. A little censorship is forgivable, but if the %20 of game content claim is true, it’s a little difficult to stomach. %20 is almost a quarter of an entire game.

I’m still going to pick up the American release, just because I am not fluent in Japanese and would like to better know what’s going on. But I’m starting to want to actually pick up and play the Japanese version of the game right now and and play it first. And enjoy knowing what it says in English after the fact.

If it’s delayed, that gives me more time to import it and do just that.

Delays, huh? NIS has been doing that a lot lately. (I’m referring to Witch and the 100 Knights)

I’ll be honest , I’m kinda relieved about this news. I don’t have my ps3 yet, I’d like to buy this game as soon as I got my ps3 :)
