B-Movie Director Is Making An Earth Defense Force 2017 Commercial

OK, so Earth Defense Force isn’t getting the Onechanbara treatment with a feature film, but it will get a live action… umm… commercial for Earth Defense Force 3 Portable. Minoru Kawasaki the B-movie director behind Executive Koala and The Calamari Wrestler was hired to create it.

The short is being filmed and Sony is looking for a huge number of extras to run away from giant ants or something. This is Sony Computer Entertainment’s way of helping publicize Earth Defense Force 3 Portable, which was originally an Xbox 360 exclusive known as Earth Defense 2017 in the West.
