Resident Evil Taking Over Universal Studios With Umbrella Corp Haunted House

By Spencer . August 27, 2012 . 1:08am

Want to experience Resident Evil in real life? From September 14 to November 11, Universal Studios Japan will turn the Gramercy Park area into Raccoon City complete with Lickers, Nemesis T-Type, Jill Valentine, Clare Redfield, and zombies.

Raccoon City is just rated horror level one. If you want a real scare there’s the Umbrella Corporation: T-Virus Escape attraction with zombies and the Tyrant. Universal Studios will also serve special Resident Evil meals like T-Virus zombie brains, a mixed herb drink, and a Birkin G alcoholic beverage.

    Yet another thing which makes me want to go to Japan. T_T

  • Sounds fun. I know in the Universals in the U.S. are having some promotion with Silent Hill, last I heard.

    So that’s how the zombie apocalypse starts: someone’s going to take it just a bit too far…

  • Zombies are getting classier. But will they be able to hold knives and forks?

    • keithmaxx

      Naw, they have a fear of sharp, pointy objects and generally anything that blows their head up.

      • From the way that they’ve been running at sharp-object-wielding protagonists, one could never tell. :P

    I went to this Universal park in Osaka and it’s amazing. When I was there, there was a Monster Hunter museum there. I wish I could see this Resident Evil one, it’s got to be amazing too.

  • I don think I can stomach the food served lol.

    meh, this is so not fair, NA is stuck with a Silent Hill themed Universal with no special foods or drinks to go with it

  • Just Tim

    If this became available #inAmerica, it would give Knott’s Scary Farm a run for its money…and not to mention implications revolving around Nemesis. >_<;
