image Square Enix will release Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary Fan Selection: Melodies & Memories on September 19. Reflecting on her work, composer Yoko Shimomura said "Hikari" captures the image of Kingdom Hearts. Shimomura was asked to compose a song that captures the feeling of great drama, which led to the creation of "Hikari."

Kingdom Hearts fans in Japan voted on which songs should be on the two disc CD and selected "Hikari ~ Kingdom Orchestra Instrumental Version ~ as the #1 song from the first game. "Dearly Beloved" and "Another Side" were #2 and #3, respectively.

"Naminé" was the top pick from Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories while "Lord of the Castle" was number two.

"Roxas" was voted by fans as their favorite song from Kingdom Hearts II with "The Other Promise" and "Dearly Beloved" took silver and bronze.

Here are the songs confirmed to be on Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary Fan Selection: Melodies & Memories so far. The list is not complete since it’s missing tunes from Dream Drop Distance and 358/2 Days.
