That Emperor’s SaGa picture makes me really sad, knowing the game looks so great, and also knowing there’s almost no chances this will ever be localized, unless SE ditches the social elements to it and releases it as a smartphone (iOS/Android) game in the west.

It’s an amazing line up nonetheless, and shows how much Social gaming is important in Japan.

Kinda sad to see that mobile has grown to such importance that IT is the highlight TGS keynote this year.  While I have no problem with mobile games, I just dont see them being more important than the big 3 at a games convention (even with how big the market is).

Although I guess considering this is Japan, and their mobile games usually consist of more depth than say, Angry Birds, Draw Something, or that Roller Coaster game for iOS (we do have Infinity Blade, but games like that are .000001% of the kind of mobile games usually released in the west).  While Japan gets Metal Gear, Monster Hunter, Megaman Legends, Final Fantasy social, we get Angry Birds jungle, Angry Birds outside space, and Angry Birds We Know You Always Wanted to Play as the Pig Version.

    But hey, whoopee, I guess.
