Earth Seeker Developer Working On New PS3 Gundam Game

By Spencer . September 25, 2012 . 11:59pm

imageCrafts & Meister, the development team behind the creative Wii role playing game Earth Seeker, have been working with Namco Bandai after their title about exploring a planet terraformed like Earth failed to sell. They created a Star Driver game for PSP and Fullmetal Alchemist: To the Promised Day.

Now, Namco Bandai has gave Crafts & Meister one of their most important licenses – Gundam. Gundam Breaker for PlayStation 3 is being developed by Crafts & Meister. No other information on the game other than that right now.

Forgot all about Earth Seeker. Pity about the sales, but did it at least review well?

As far as Gundam Breaker, just have to wait for more info.

Gundam Breaker is a PS3/Vita title, isn’t it?

    • Godmars

       Yeah. Probably this one:

Which I don’t have any issues with mind you, just rather that its theme was customization instead of scaling.

Yup apparently its ps3/ps vita game. Cross buy please :D

Not sure that’s helpful, though… I only have one Vita, and it’s not Japanese region, so if Cross Buy includes redeemable vouchers for downloadable Vita games… Then I can’t play them. Now, if it was a voucher for the PS3 game, and a Vita cartridge, that would work.

Wait, did I see the OG (meaning Original Gundam here) use what looked like Deathsycthe’s deathsycthe in that trailer? It could be an interesting take on the Gundams…battling on a pool table or chess board or something like that.

So when you buy a new gunpla from a specialy marked box you will get an in game code that will allow you to use it, with maybe dlc as well.

Hmm im guessing they are not satisfied with their current gunpla sales so they are using this as a booster, or maybe gunpla sales are down.

Hm, I wonder which timeline Gundam Breaker will be based on?

    • Mr_SP

Considering there’s already a trailer, it’s the game where you input codes from the Gunpla you buy. So, all timelines.

I still really want to import Earth Seeker (it looks fantastic, and my only disappointment is lack of other NPCs), but I’ll always be interested in future titles of their’s. I hope they get to make a new, RPG-styled IP again some time.
