New Super Mario Bros. 2 Coin Rush DLC Stages Are 3 For 200 Yen

Nintendo announced the first batch of downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros. 2. A floating Iwata head explained these are level packs for Coin Rush mode. Each pack contains three courses and costs 200 yen ($2.57).It looks like Nintendo is trying to appeal to different groups of players since one level pack is a coin collecting challenge and another is a trio of super hard stages. The Gold Mario pack looks like an easier course designed for players who want to reach that million coin mark faster.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 downloadable stage packs will be available on October 2 in Japan. Fire Emblem: Awakening DLC brought an extra 380 million yen of revenue for Nintendo. I wonder how many coins Nintendo will collect from Mario…

Yes Nintendo come to the DLC side >:)

But in all seriousness DLCs aren’t bad if kept under control, they allow developers to add to the game with ideas that didn’t come up or had time to fit in before the game went gold

I hope Nintendo won’t go to far with the DLC like so many compagnies have done this gen…

I wanna try the heart pounding pack…but I don’t want pay as I’m not a fan of DLC unless it’s huge which no DLC released for any game seems to have had (disregarding iNFAMOUS’s vampire dlc, that SEEMS big…never got it though so I wouldn’t know).

If they added a new world full of the heart pounding pack’s stages I’d consider the $3.45 they’d charge (Australian pricing sucks and is stupid).

Infamous Festival of Blood was standalone and just used assets from two.

I like what they did with dlc here it is stuff that didn’t need to be the game (3 stages that look game breakingly easy, 3 normal looking stages and 3 really hard looking stages), I can support Nintendo because so far they are doing dlc well.

I wish they had DLC for Mario kart and Kid Icarus
