Unchained Blade Makers Are Working On 3DS Card Battling Game

cardfight1 FuRyu, the company behind Unchained Blades and much earlier Last Bullet, announced their next 3DS title. It’s not a dungeon crawler either! Cardfight: Ride to Victory is tied to the Cardfight: Vanguard trading card game/anime series.

Cardfight: Ride to Victory has an original story for fans to play through. Tutorial mode teaches players how to be a cardfighter and Mission Fight refines your techniques. Players earn points through fights which can be used to purchase recipes and new cards for a custom deck. Cardfight: Ride to Victory also has a communication mode, but it isn’t clear if the game supports ad-hoc or wi-fi battles.

Cardfight: Ride to Victory is slated for spring 2013 in Japan.
