Rhythm Hunter: Harmo Knight Already Has English Voiceovers

By Spencer . September 30, 2012 . 12:30pm

imageGame Freak gets to make interesting games that aren’t something–mon every now and then. They made Drill Dozer and more recently Rhythm Hunter: Harmo Knight for the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Junichi Masuda director of Game Freak says he wants to bring Rhythm Hunter: Harmo Knight to North America and the game is already primed for a Western release. I played the Japanese version of Rhythm Hunter: Harmo Knight and it has English voiceovers built into the game. Granted, not every scene has voice acting, but the narrator speaks English. I’d say Rhythm Hunter: Harmo Knight is a shoo-in for an international release.

So this will be released before Christmas, I assume?

  • LittleMofreaky

I can’t wait! This and TheDenpaMen look really cool.

  • Drill Dozer! They could have made a sequel… or a port for the 3DS eshop…

Can’t wait for Harmo Knight! but right now I don’t even have money to get Denpa Men…

  • Anime10121

Fantastic! This is a rhythm game I could see my self getting into!

  • Zonic505

So awesome to hear more & more news leaning towards an US release. I hope this does well so Game Freak can do more games outside of Pokemon.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

A really nice news there.^_^ Considering, it has been a long time since Game Freak come out with a new game that is not Pokemon.

Hope that these one will sell good as it will encourage Game Freak to come out with more games.^_^

It’s nice that they are starting to make other games. They are aware that there will come a time when they can’t make more Pokemon. The Pokedex already has more than 600 Pokemon. If there will be 1500+ Pokemon, then I wouldn’t enjoy attempting to fill the Pokedex.

      • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

I kinda believe that there are chances that Pokemon one day will actually achieved that number there lol.^_^

Remember Digimon? I can’t even count how many digimon we have now after the X-Ros there.T_T

        • komiko12

Well they can do that, if they want to make fans suffer filling the Pokedex. I already feel exhausted just thinking about it.

          • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Haha. I understand what you mean there lol.^_^ Even me here trying to get all the monster in Monster Rancher here is already very tedious.

            I can’t even imagine, getting 1500 Pokemon?T_T

  • keithmaxx

Nice attempt by GameFreak… It’ll offer some alternative to the rhythm games by Sega and SquareEnix.

    • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Now, we only need to wait for IniS rhythm game there.^_^

  • puchinri

Yay~! That’s great! I hope we won’t have too long a wait for it, and I hope it does well here. ♥

  • wahyudil

then made it the first un-region locked 3DS game …

    • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Umm it is coming here so why region lock?

  • D. Changstein

That’s pretty cool.  Now to sit back and wait for the UNDUBbers to start complaining.
