Along with the new Ranger and Paladin classes, Square Enix is adding new weapons to Dragon Quest X.
The boomerang, a staple and solid early game weapon, retains its ability to hit multiple enemies in Dragon Quest X. If you prefer you can hit one enemy twice using the Cross Cutter skill or add a fire effect to your weapon with Burning Bird.
Rangers can also equip bows and one of the skills makes arrows rain on enemies. Thunderbolt hits one monster, in this case a Walking Corpse, with an bolt of electricity.
Paladins can equip hammers and shatter the ground with Land Impact. This ability can damage a group of enemies.
The October update also includes new quests for players.
