Arc System Works Making Groovy Music Player For Vita (PS It’s Free)

By Spencer . October 5, 2012 . 3:29am

I first heard about NAX Music Player when I met with Arc System Works last year. The project was spearheaded by an Arc System Works producer who used to work at Q Entertainment. Now, it’s almost ready for release.

NAX Music Player plays MP3 tunes stored on your Vita memory card. It comes with visualizers and can analyze a song’s BPM in real time. The app can save synchro data which you can use to create a virtual dancer. Dance characters and visualizers are DLC, but NAX Music Player itself is free. Look for NAX Music Player on PlayStation Store this fall.

Can we use this guy/gal as our virtual dancer?

  • Gotta grab this one as soon is available!

  • Oh that sounds awesome, too bad I dont have a vita XD

  • Zonic505

Sounds interesting, especially since I use my Vita as a MP3 player. Perhaps they could insert some BlazBlue/Guilty Gear cameos &/or music?

There is more to Arcsys than just GG and BB! Man, it’s like you guys know and care for nothing Arcsys puts out, unless it has something to do with GG and BB.

    Nice little trailer~

Hmm. This is cool and all, but I’d rather not use my whopping 8 GB memory card for music… I am glad that devs are showing interests in the vita.

So is this the “project NOELS” thing I heard about awhile ago? I guess Noel would be one of the dlc dancers; that would be sexy :P

  • O_O! Dear Lord I want that song in the trailer! >_<
    The player looks awesome too!

Seriously does anyone know what that song was though? lol

Virtual dancer? Heh, Illusionsoft or Umemaro 3D could help with that. >w>

I really hope this hits the West…

What we really need is a normal video player for Vita that supports more file formats.
