Tales Of Card Evolve Brings Together Tales Universes Yet Again

By Spencer . October 6, 2012 . 12:00pm

Social game maker GREE made a Tales card battling game. Tales of Card Evolve has characters from the entire Tales series ready to fight monsters together. Cards level up and get cooler graphics when they grow.

Tales of Card Evolve is out now in Japan. It’s a free download with in-game items available for purchase.

No weird name like Tales of Formaldehyde?

Damn, these Tales characters interact with each other in so many crossover games that it’s no longer charming to see their interactions, it’s getting old, and now, they are just putting them all together again without the benefit of the funny skits.

I don’t know, this just seems like pandering to me. Twin Brave and Tactics and this all in the same year? Sigh. And yes I know its free. My point still stands.

This year we had Twin Braves, Dice Adventure, Tactics Union, Kizuna cards and now Evolve. And -just- last year we had RM3 (with a mobile version, too).
They really are all out with crossovers huh?
EDIT: Oh! And this isnt without mentioning the copious amount of cameo costume DLC for their various Tales games.
