Animal Crossing’s Traveling Walrus Artist Appears In Your Dreams

Wendell, the hungry artist that gives you wallpaper patterns in exchange for food, is in Animal Crossing for 3DS. The way you meet him is a bit different than other games. Famitsu explains Wendell will show up in your character’s dreams with design patterns. I guess he’s going to inspire your character? Whether you pay for these patterns with spirit apples or not has not been revealed yet.

 

Famitsu also talks about a special event players will have to wait almost a year to see. September 3rd is Grass Day. A gardening shop will open on this day and reward players with a special item if your town is free of weeds.

 

Animal Crossing for Nintendo 3DS comes out on November 8.
