We’ve seen a bunch of Sega game collections over the years, but most of them focus on the Genesis. Sega Memorial Selection has five arcade games like Head-On and Congo Bongo plus arranged versions with updated graphics. Originally part of the Sega Ages series, Sega Memorial Selection is coming to PlayStation 3 as a PS2 Classic in Japan on October 17.

  • Do you think they’ll ever re-release some of their excellent Saturn titles?

    • It’s hard to say, not only because of the ludicrous architecture of the Saturn hardware, but also because the source code for many of the notable Saturn releases was lost over the years.

      •  Emulation not an option? If I can get Shining Force 3 and Dark Savior to run on a Windows XP laptop from 2006, surely they could run on a PS3.

maybe the best we’ll do is the sega ages ps2 versions

        • That and many popular titles have arcade and/or PC versions too.  Shining Force III though, will probably need a localized remake.

    • i would murder for a HD burning rangers… well not murder but i would give some one a real angry face for it!

  • Penguin Land!
    Gimme this for western PSN.
