Capcom is giving Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile a free update that includes Final Fight boss Rolento. Rolento has attacks like stinger, fake rod, spike rod, and a launch move.

A new championship match mode awards players experience points when they fight each other over a wireless signal. You can challenge friends on Gamecenter or practice in a simulation mode.

Musou Matsuri is another new mode where you battle challenger after challenger until time (or your life) runs out. You can extend the clock by completing a target factor challenge that pops up. Capcom says players should set their sights to defeating 100 fighters.

    Does anyone still play SFxT?
last time i saw any sign of it was the combo makers.
but seems like even them also gave up on this game. such a waste. it had so much potentials.

The game may have failed with professional fighters, but there are people still playing it online. Sure it had numerous bugs, but Capcom has released fixes and despite all the crap about DLC, they are still playing it.

      • That’s a real shame. They could have learned a lesson from it but instead they insisted on supporting something so fundamentally flawed in the first place.

On the contrary, many of the professional players say that they like playing this game and it’s fun.  Plus, it’s still being played in some of the bigger tournaments (not in as many as I would like, though.)

Actually, the online community is thriving at the moment (more so than some other non capcom fighters.)  Match videos are still posted on a regular basis, you just need to look in the right places (Eventhubs posts them weekly.) Same goes for combo videos, although they’re a bit more common.

So this port doesn’t have teams?

  • Oni123

I’m sorry i must have read that wrong … pretty sure Free and capcom have never been in the same sentence before =)

Well, if you add “not” you will probably remember a sentence
