I always lose out on sales since I normally own the game already since I dont like to wait for said sales. ….Though it is a pretty good deal on the games for those who have been wanting some of them yet didnt want to pay full price .
I did almost consider theatrhythm though. Im not a big rythm game fan and in the end I think 30.00 is still a bit to much for a game I wouldnt play often..

      …”The comment above”?? o_o

    FFXIII-2 for 14 bucks…hmm.

    Might finally play the game.

    • Evan Groman

Yeah, it’s been available for like $18 on Amazon for the longest time. Even the special edition is only $40 at this point, if you’re into stuff like that.

    • Unlimax

I wonder Why FFXIII-2 wasn’t ported on PC too with this price , it would be a great deal to play this directly on the PC !

Sadly those non-MMO FF titles never smelled the PC experience Since FF8 !

  • Manny Being Manny

I know this is probably a silly question, but FF7 on PC does support controllers right?

    • Michael Synodis

Of course it does, and I say this having not even played the updated version. Even the old PC version did and that was before PC joysticks were standardized. Even if it didn’t you could use joy2key real easy.

      • Hidayat246

i wonder what game u play with joy2key????

  • Barrylocke89

Not bad, but I think I’ll hold out a bit for the big guns that we all know are coming next month.

    • Manny Being Manny

What games are those? All I can think of is Persona 4 Golden

      • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_EUSPDCE22Z6ETYY3W5XRZ2SFZU Darrel

        Call of Duty and Halo

      • Barrylocke89

I was actually referring to the big gun SALES that tend to happen around Black Friday on sites like Amazon and Steam.

  • Elvick

Heroes of Ruin should be less than KH: DDD and Theatrhythm. Not the same.

I see where you’re coming from, but I also believe one can easily find these games online selling for an even lower price than that, lol.

  • Romangelo

meh… their store refused foreign credit cards and they don’t accept PayPal. so they don’t want my money. learn how to do business, SE.

    • CirnoLakes

Yeah, they have a lot to learn about working with the digital market in general.

  • Jesse Thompson

Yeah, buy Theatrhytms for only $27.99, then spend $59.99 to get all of the DLC.  Not that you have to, but what’s the point of having a music rhythm game with less music.  G…ah…G….

    • Kanamion

Guitar Hero has been doing it since the third one, and Rockband has been doing it since it first came out.

    • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

And yet Theatrhythm itself alreay had 90+ songs and why they don’t add more song is already explained in “Iwata Ask” as the cartridge is fully utlized already.

So please research or at least play the game before making claims. Being haters sounds cool if you are at least informed here but being uninformed haters is just sad.

      • http://animereviews.co/ Nadav

They can always do a GOTY edition that will have the game plus the extra songs as a free DLC.

        • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Game on Nintendo handheld rarely do this though and Thatrhythm is selling quite good that they are out of stock during the first three weeks. So i don’t think they are going to do that.

And the DLC actually is quite cheap. It is only a bucks for one song so you can just that certain song that you liked. After all the game itself is already fulfilling even without DLC.(I never DL any song and i have wasted at least 50 hours in the game.)

  • CirnoLakes

Eh, I’d rather get it on Steam. At least that way it would show off how many hours I’ve played the game to the biggest PC gaming community in the world. Also it would mean exposure and sales for Square Enix.

But I’d might as well give it a go. Square is lucky with me though, not so lucky with the majority of people who’d rather go through another service than the Square Store. And thus won’t buy the game until it does.

If it weren’t for the sale, the fact I’m a hardcore jRPG fan, and the fact that I worry that Square will ever have enough sense to also put it up on Steam and GamersGate, I wouldn’t buy it right now. And would just wait for it to show up on Steam.

  • eilegz

im still waiting for the goty version of ff xiii-2 with all dlc =/
