AKB 1/149: Love Election Starts With You Cold Calling Idols

Speaking of games with idols in them, Namco Bandai’s latest idol dating game, AKB 1/153: Love Election might have lost a few idols. The game’s new name is now AKB 1/149: Love Election.

 

 

It still has the same ludicrous premise where you start the game with a list of phone numbers from idols in AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48. You call them and some how convince these girls to go out on a date with you.

 

 

During dates you can choose what to say and if you keep dating an idol they may confess their love to you before you go on a midnight helicopter ride. Or you might run into another idol during a date who spots you double dating. Uh oh!

 

 

 

Dating girls from different idol groups can cause tension between them while picking girls from the same idol group may boost the team’s spirit. This is Namco Bandai’s third AKB48 dating game, so these must be making the publisher quite a bit of money since they find ways to continue the series. AKB 1/149: Love Election comes out for PSP and PlayStation Vita on December 20.
