Grasshopper Manufacture’s Black Knight Sword Re-emerges At Sony Japan Event

By Spencer . November 2, 2012 . 1:33pm

Grasshopper Manufacture is developing two games with Digital Reality, Sine Mora and Black Knight Sword. Sine Mora is available now, but we haven’t seen Black Knight Sword since 2011’s Tokyo Game Show. Out of the blue, Black Knight Sword will appear at World Game Project Fes Vol. 3 and it will be playable.

What is a World Game Project Fes? To get Japanese gamers more interested in Western games, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan hosts events where games developed in the West are shown. Since Digital Reality is based in Hungry Black Knight Sword qualifies. DmC is being developed at Ninja Theory so it’s on the list too. World Game Project Fes Vol. 3 will be held at BelleSalle in Akihabara on November 23. Here’s what you can play.

Unique looking sidescroller game…Wallet in need to sacrifice you….again

  • You know, I was just thinking about this game yesterday, wondering what had happened to it.  Glad it’s back out of the depths.

  • That’s a neat idea, they should do a reverse convention over here.

I’ll keep my eye on this game.

Where the hell is Sine Mora for the Vita and PS3? It was supposed to be released “Summer 2012”.
    Its november.

Been keeping my eye out for this title- think I saw it even before the other Sony puppet game. While that game looks far prettier, I say that this game and it’s “paper doll” style has a place in my heart as well. Besides, this looks FAR more wicked than Sony’s outing, and I would be a liar if I said I didn’t find it intriguing.

Does the game actually play like that? I mean, in the curtain. It’s so small compared to what’s around it. It hurts to look at. :/

i just hope  World Game Project Fes not turn japanese developer too much,

  • Izzy Miyake

Well it definitely has the Suda 51 crazy stamp all over it. Call me tentatively optimistic about this one.

Digital Reality is based in Hungary, not Hungry.

  • Yesss. I’ve really been looking forward to Black Knight Sword.
