It seems Level-5 is trying to do damage control there as the sales for the games is not really good and the game had lots of bugs on the release day.

Not really… All this content was already planned from release; the data is already in the game and the DLC will only unlock access to it. There are screenshots and plenty of spoilers abound floating on the net from people who hacked through the PSP version.
About the bugs, Tales of Xillia 2 had to release a 1.01 patch as well too anyway.
Still, there are some bugs on DanSenW they still need to fix with another patch, imo. It crashes on me sometimes on the Vita when too many special effects are going on, even with the 1.01 patch there.

The game having bugs was a fault and impacted my enjoyment. I still wonder how much Tri-Ace helping out impacted it.

As for the game not being good, lolwhat? This is easily the game that I’ve had the most fun playing this year. Just because it has bugs doesn’t make it any less of a good game. *coughZOEHDcough*

Bugs either mean they a) sped through testing, b) didn’t encounter them or c) didn’t look too hard.

      • Splash (눈‸눈)

LynxAmali, they said the SALES for the games is (are) not really good lol (which is “relatively” true compared to the first Dansen game).

The game itself is epic imo |D~~~ I too wonder how much Tri-Ace’s actual involvement was, and whether we can blame them for all the bugs. XD But yeah, they really need to work on another patch for all the bugs still remaining.

Anyway, for people interested in spoilers about the content, etc: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/663679-danball-senki-w/64467425

Guess I must have misread that.

If the game end up causing people to lose their save, how can it not cause some of the people claiming the game is not as good as the previous one here?

Some of my friend who get the game claimed some of the bugs also causes the game to freeze on several points and even during the battle.

In the end, bug do in some way decrease the fun factor here as it seriously will cause some of the gamer to frusturate.

cause some of the people claiming the game is not as good as the
          previous one here?

This is the first time I’ve heard of that ever happening and I’ve been following threads since release. It freezes hence is why they released 1.01 patch.

-Some of my friend who get the game claimed some of the bugs also
causes the game to freeze on several points and even during the battle.

Is said friend using the 1.01 patch?

          • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Which is why i mention on launch. The game core mechanics they said is great but those bugs problem kinda turn them off first.

        • Splash (눈‸눈)

I haven’t heard of anyone losing their save either, at least after the patch. And the freezes are fixed on the 1.01 patch, at least on the PSP version. the Vita version still gets errors and “crashes” when there are too many effects in certain battles, and that’s the main reason I’m hoping for another patch yet, along with other nitpicky bugs still in the game. |D

          I CAN see why people would say it’s not as good as the previous game, mostly because the story of the original game is just beautiful in itself and it did not have these kinds of wacky bugs. The original game is just amazing. And again I still have my doubts about Tri-Ace’s involvement being a benefit or not for the series. Still, this sequel added some few elements that make the battles even more interesting and challenging in good ways, and the library of LBX and parts has a major improvement of course. And of course getting spoiled with the Vita version, the graphics are just beautiful eye candy and I find it hard to go back to the PSP version after it. XD;

not to start console wars but im still expecting a 3ds version due to how well that version is doing and the consoles popularity .

also it good to know they are doing something to increase sales and get interest into the games besides the movie tie in so hopefully the games should sell more

Huh… so they swear they won’t release a “boost” version of this game, but here they’re talking about an update nonetheless… will it be a downloadable update then? Because that’s the only thing I can think of that wouldn’t just make them promise-breaking liar liar pants on fire.

It is a DLC update thing.

There’s a true ending to LBX W? Hmmm? I wonder what the true ending of Inazuma Eleven GO 2 Chrono Stone would look like? It’s ok to reply spoilers(if there is one…)

  • almostautumn

This came in yesterday and I am freaking in love!!!

Sadly though, this game features a slew of additional customizations compared to Boost, and this is definitely not as import-friendly this time around. While you won’t have trouble knowing where to go, doing Trial-and-Error with modding your mech just isn’t going to fly this time around. I’ll be having my dictionary with me each time I screw around, which is kind of a bummer.
