Unchained Blades Developer’s Next Quest Is Developing A Doraemon Game

By Spencer . November 25, 2012 . 10:00am

FuRyu, makers of Unchained Blades and sticker photo booths in Japan, is now the go to company for Doraemon games. Sega used to publish everything Doraemon, but it looks like Sonic HQ is devoting all of their attention to Hatsune Miku.

The next Doraemon game is based on the 2013 film Doraemon: Nobita’s Secret Gadget Museum. FuRyu pulled five mini-games out of Doraemon’s pouch for the Nintendo 3DS game.

  • I will be honest, I still like to watch those Doraemon movies.

  • Z3

  • Namuro

Nobita, what were you thinking!? Wearing pink like that! You’re just asking for Gian and Suneo to pick on you…

    • Davide Costa

If the characters were americans, such thing would happen. Also, that coat is coloured red-violet.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Ohhhh Sega huh? No wonder i find that Nobita chasing the thief gives Rhythm Thief vibes lol.^_^ And that also made by Sega.^_^

Ooh….This news makes me remember something…
I have played 1 Doraemon games in PS1…
The one you play like scrolling games…In some underwater stage and castle…And the Fighting against fckn big ghost ship…
    Great time…Its a shame I don’t remember the games name…

    • Peace Legacy

Doraemon 2 SOS! Otogi no Kuni
One of my absolutely favourite PSX game of all time
I still got the game official Japanese version on my left shelf right now as we speak (bought it off Ebay for collection)
I really want to play it again, too bad none of the Emu support the strange sound format the game use (so the game got no music in emulator play… and the music is half the nostalgia source, so yeah)

      • Raze

        I see…
Now I want try play it again…

Yea the music is very catchy for me…
Well at least when I was child…

        • Peace Legacy

Nope, the music is still dang catchy as fck even now
          Curse you nostalgia
There used to be a playthrough of the game on youtube, from beginning to end, shame that it is gone now
Most of the best OST of the game aren’t available in that video you linked to, a shame really.(heck, that video even missing/swapping some track of the game)
I do have the sound track file of the game though, I can easily upload it on youtube if I wanted to (but I doubt anyone will care to watch it)
P.S, this game got a pretty dang solid soundtrack, if someone were to re-arrange it, would perfectly fit into games like Pokemon and stuffs without a single problem

          • Raze

You mean the one that play in beanstalk stage??
I dunno if its true but I think that one is kinda unfitting…
And I kinda like the song stage where Shizuka and Doraemon playing…

The Vid too is missing some stage…And there’s no the underwater, castle, the raining canyon, the ghost ship…Last Boss that looks like Yama IIRC…Damn….

Many people don’t really care this kind of game anymore…
And even I…Doubt that someone here know the game I mention…It looks like I wrong though…Haha…

          • Peace Legacy

yeah, the beanstalk was suppose to have a much much more upbeat theme (I had a playthrough of this game save in my harddrive, and did double checked it).
most of the good themes of the game isn’t in that vid, that’s an absolute fact for sure

” I…Doubt that someone here know the game I mention…It looks like I wrong though…”
It look like we are the only 2 who knows about this though, so you are not entirely wrong, haha

        • So that’s your childhood Doreamon game….
          This is mine >_>: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bohP8AHCHpE
          Never did beat that game.
          Also Doreamon Monopoly
