Now if only it was coming to america…then I’d be happy.

  • So much want…. Heck, just pay the fansubbers to translate it….

    • ShuLikesLolis

Can’t they just buy the already ready translation by Mirror-Moon? It was pretty great

      • Juan Andrés Valencia

They could buy it but AFAIK the Realta Nua version is kind of different (There are a lot of changes).

        • ShuLikesLolis

But isn’t Realta Nua already translated as well? I believe there was a team that released a translated Realta Nua patch for the PC version of Fate

It’s so strange that various versions of this franchise have made it over here, but the main part that everyone loves hasn’t come over here.

I mean after the success of things like Zero Escape, haven’t we proven that we are ready for VN type games?

    • xzeldax3

That doesn’t prove anything because Zero Escape is half visual novel, half puzzle game. Most people who played 999, that weren’t visual novel fans, barely completed the first ending. It is still very niche and the average American gamer doesn’t want to read a lot of text and will skip cutscenes. Many complain that visual novels aren’t games and are just porno dating sims with tentacles.

I do think 999 was a very rare international success and a huge step for visual novel popularity outside of Japan.

    • Some1 gimme a D-Mail. I want to go to a world line where VN is the big thing world wide XD

But yeah, its sad… Anime gets to cross the sea but the source game rarely does… We need more of those good Vn like S;G to change ppl mindset T.T

Btw does any1 knows the sale of Hakuoki?

  • There’s a very, very good chance we’re going to see Mahou Tsukai no Yoru on the Vita next year. It was planned for the PSP at one point, but at this stage, it probably makes more sense to just release it on the Vita instead.

  • Learii

i hope is not like Fate/Extra on psp

    • Z3

Rejoice, Learii, your wish shall be granted.

    • Its a pure VN. Which mean its mostly like a novel until the part where you make choices to advance the story.

  • Juan Andrés Valencia

XSeed, Aksys or Atlus: Please try to buy the rights for this and it’s translation!

I’d Kickstart it as soon as it appears.
