Report: Capcom Arcade Cabinet Bringing Retro Games To Current ConsolesPockett.net dug up cover art for Capcom Arcade Cabinet which appears to be a collection of Capcom arcade games for Xbox Live Arcade. Characters from Sonson, Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Gunsmoke (maybe?), Trojan (the guy in front?), and one of the ships from Capcom’s 1942 shooting series appear to be in the montage.

While Capcom has not announced Capcom Arcade Cabinet, a trademark adds fuel to the rumor. Capcom Japan registered Capcom Arcade Cabinet in the U.S.A. on December 7.

Too bad Capcom doesn’t have the license for Dungeons & Dragons or Area 88 – the original name for U.N. Squadron – anymore. Those were some of Capcom’s best and rarest games.
