One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 will be available in Japan on March 20, reports Jump. You can get the game on PlayStation 3 version for 8,190 yen ($97) or pick up the 7,140 yen ($85) Vita version. Downloadable releases are the same price.

First print copies include a code to download Luffy’s costume from One Piece Film Z and a figure for the Mobage social game One Piece Grand Collection.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 will also be sold in a 12,390 yen ($147) treasure box package with other goodies and it looks like a Luffy PS3 decal is one of them.

You mean this isn’t DAY ONE BABY?

      • XYZ_JolteonZ980

Just enough time to buy a Vita.

Welcome and enjoy your Vita. Don’t be ashamed to look up or ask people how to make maximal use of your Vita as well as how to make full use of customization. Remember outside of PSP and PS1 games, you can take screenshots of whatever’s on your Vita’s screen by simultaneously pressing the PS button and Start button and touching the screen on PSP and PS1 button can bring up touch controls and customize right analog for PSP games.

Interestingly, outside of PDF readers and Flash support for the browser, the Vita is a fair replacement for a touch tablet as comparatively to a friend of mine who has one, we both tend to make use of our respective piece of hardware (me the Vita, him the tablet) for roughly the same thing, aside from the two aforementioned features.

      • I like my Vita but no, it’s not a tablet nor is it a good replacement for one.

After your great comment, I can’t afford to say that I didn’t buy one yet. It’d be too sad, so… I bought one and am really enjoying it. Thanks!

    • Pedro Tavares

I have one but I’m not enjoying it because i haven’t played it since I got it, finished Dynasty Warriors and I’m waiting for a game I actually want to buy.

      • ragingmerifes

Haven’t you played Persona 4, Ragnarok Odyssey, Ys: Celceta no Jukai, Dokuro, Touch My Katamari, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f, Disgaea or Gravity Rush? Jogue-os, cara. Na boa.

        • Dede Ogbe

Literally was just gonna post that! Am tired of ppl talking the same crap about the vita having no good games to play. That at this point is a myth. There are alot of very good games on that system.

      • Elvick

I didn’t want to buy Dynasty Warriors and have had plenty to play.

Sucks you’re not finding anything to enjoy. Glad I don’t have that issue, but I knew I had plenty to play at launch and plenty more coming which is why I bought it in the first place.

Props to you for wording your statement properly btw.

  • Elfyra

too many good games released in March

  • MrJechgo

March? Woaw, that’s a bit hasty here doesn’t it?
Anyway, I hope that we get stages based on the missing arcs, at least one stage for the arcs features in the first game and of course, ENGLISH DUBS!

    • Shogunreaper

Not gonna happen, one piece is not popular enough in the u.s to get a dub, Probably just get another psn release if its lucky.

  • Romangelo

WTH? $97 for one game? Isn’t it higher than this year?

oh god… I hope these insane prices will not lead to region locking in the future.

    • It’s about the same unfortunately.

    • WingsOfEternity

$90 for Japanese imports is really nothing out of the ordinary

  • Shogunreaper

Be really stupid to pay that much tbh..

This game is 100% coming to europe, probably almost the same time, so just buy it off the psn and save yourself half the money it would cost to import.

    • Dede Ogbe

Umm in case you havent heard its a summer release for Europe. Plus there is a chance it wont be released on the Vita over here. So if your a Vita owner may as well just import it.

  • Dede Ogbe

Wow March is looking good for the Vita. Soul Sacrifice and Tales of Heart R to begin with. Dead or Alive Plus, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, One Piece, Holy Sorcery Story, etc

  • LegendaryLos

Importing this with the quickness. I can’t wait.

  • Leon S. Kennedy

what im more curious about is if this is going to be its own stand alone game or if its going to be a download add on to OP Pirate Warriors which makes more sense to me
