Xbox 360 Shooter Ginga Force Lifts Off In February

By Spencer . December 18, 2012 . 12:19am

Qute Corporation makers of Eschatos have been working on their second Xbox 360 shooter. OK, third if you count the Wonderswan game Judgement Silversword.

Ginga Force was supposed to come out this year, but after a series of delays it’s new release date is February 14. Ships in Ginga Force can be customized with different primary and secondary weapons. This vertical shooter probably won’t come out overseas, but you can import it! Ginga Force is region free.

Having been enjoying the boobsdontworkthatway tumblr, those busts gave me a little smile and a chuckle. (Maybe I should submit a couple of screens!)

The gameplay itself looks fun, and it’s a clean looking game. I’ll have to tell my friend to keep up with it (for me).

Ginga Force because the main character is a ginger? Am I right or does “Ginga” stands for something else?

ginga means galaxy :) Nice it finally gets a release date. Eschatos was a simple but challenging old school shooter, w/ an amazing soundtrack. This one looks good as well. Nice theme song.

Thanks. I feel kinda awkward now…

In case you weren’t aware… Eschatos (already released, and also region free) includes Judgment Silversword and its “sequel”/updated version, Cardinal Sins on the disc. Good stuff.

And I can’t wait for Ginga Force :)

        I’m pretty hyped myself. Can’t wait! ;)

Now all we need is a Saidaioujou release date, and my late Winter to Spring 2013 plans will be set :)

And who knows, maybe G.Rev can also surprise us with a mid/late-2013 announcement for an Border Down HD? Haha. /wishful thinking/

Huh, region-free. I guess they did all the paperwork and what not to get the game like that. Interesting though considering G.rev mentioned that Microsoft was highly discouraging new region-free games.

Good stuff though. I can always use another shmup on my 360.
