darkstalkCapcom Japan is beginning to sell digital downloads like Darkstalkers Resurrection on their online store. If you buy the game directly you’ll get a premium soundtrack CD for free.

Darkstalkers Resurrection costs 2,990 yen ($35) on e-Capcom’s store, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade. In Japan, the game is slated for release on March 14, 2013. Capcom has not announced pricing or a specific release date for other territories. Usually, Xbox Live Arcade releases are worldwide, so we’ll probably see Darkstalkers Resurrection in March too.

To be honest, if the CD was mostly music from Vampire Hunter, I’d probably be willing to pay the exorbitant cost if this was offered in the US…

I would too, wonder if the game ordered thru Capcom would come in a box despite being a d/l (like when I bought MvC2 from Gamestop, a code came w/ a case). I have a feeling we might be offered a digital soundtrack, something I’m not too fond of, like digital artbook..

  • Yeahhhhh. Definitely wanting this. Even though it’s unlikely as all hell, I’m going to hope we get the same deal stateside. D: The Vampire series has some real great tracks.
