Tri-ace Fans, You Can Try Frontier Gate Boost Plus On December 20

l_50cb492f77fa4 Konami is developing an expanded version of Frontier Gate, a PSP RPG developed by tri-Ace, for PSP. Frontier Gate Boost Plus ups the level cap, adds new areas, gear, and boost skills.

Curious to see what tri-Ace has been working on other than Final Fantasy XIII-2? You can download a demo for Frontier Gate Boost Plus on December 20. The demo supports multiplayer in normal mode and lets users check out what’s new in boost mode. The Frontier Gate Boost Plus demo has four partner characters Loutill, Dandes, Melfy, and Kurotoki.

Save data from the Frontier Gate Boost Plus demo can be imported into the retail game. You get bonus crafting recipes and a "Proof of Cooperation" item if you play multiplayer. When you import data from the demo or a Frontier Gate save file you can either continue from where you left off or start from the beginning of the game.

      Neva, cause its on PSP.

      • Ryos

Almost but not quite: never because it’s on PSP AND it’s Konami. Hopefully this fares better in Japan than the original title.

So this is just for tri ace fans in Japan then -_-

Why do you make this article seem like the demo was open to everybody. SO CRUEL!~

I liked the little bit I played of the original demo; good music, nice customization options. Had no idea what I was doing though most of the time since I couldn’t read anything.

Would buy if it ever comes over.

So. . . as long as you have a JP PSN account, you can try this, right?

I remember when the original came out, I was really hoping that through some small miracle we’d get this game in English. Sadly it’s never going to happen.
