Even the Standard Version is horrible expensive. And a Asia Version is not in sight.

    • almostautumn

Yeah, I gotta say that $100 bucks is definitely just way too crazy for
me also. Even then, the Asia version might not be much cheaper; Monster
Monpiece is friggin’ $2 less, so it’s not uncommon for high-prices to
      remain despite.

I don’t get why; Macross is huge. Like, huge
huge. There’s no way this is some limited print game or something like
that, so I really do not understand the pricing.

      • LynxAmali

On the contrary, it is because it’s huge that the price is so expensive.

        • almostautumn

I know that that’s possible— but isn’t that blatant price gouging? I mean, how is that acceptable?

          • LynxAmali

Basically, it comes down to the conversion factor more so than anything.

Besides, that’s a pretty average price for import titles. The average Super Robot Taisen game tends to go for 80/90 dollars at launch.

          • Phill XVII

True. But the new OG has a cheaper Asia Version. Anyway, I want Macross 30 badly. Bye Bye Christmas Bonus.

Did somebody say 2nd Super Robot Wars Original Generation?

I wonder if it will still retain that “DISAPPOINTED IN YOU” screen?

Ha nice one I saw that a lot when I played. My favorite one was the gundam battle assault game for ps1 that said “you need some practice” :P

      • PoweredByHentai

I think one of the Gundam games on the PSP had “DISAPPOINTED AT YOU”. Those were hilarious to see when you have a friend fail at a mission.

You know, if the game isn’t too plot heavy and It’s somewhat import-friendly gameplay-wise and such, I’d like to buy it… but from the looks of it, it seems as if it’s a story heavy game :/

    • http://twitter.com/Nates4Christ Nate

No way. It will have a cut scene and you’ll just fly around and blow stuff up. Just like every other mech game. If your interested in the story you can read the summary on gamefaqs.

Blow stuff up you say? Challenge accepted >:3
But first, I’ll play Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 and Gundam Extreme VS!
