the first game needs some polish but was rather enjoyable. Hopefully they have worked a bit on the dungeon layouts and the world in general for the sequel.

  • Koine Nacu

Are you sure that’s Ryuto? He might be Ace who somehow looks exactly like Ryuto XD (my guess) .It also looks like Chou Chou replaces the peon ball in this game…huh.

(I’m also wondering what the twelve worlds are named after, I can’t tell. The first game’s worlds were named after the days of the week, but…)

    • DesmaX

      The Zodiac?

  • Are frame rates confirmed?
Jk jk, hope they can work out some of the kinks this time.

    • Alex Sargeant

I really hope so too. Unfortunately it’s Compile Heart and if we’ve seen anything from every single Record of Agarest/Neptunia game it’s that they have never released a game with stable frame-rate. It’s almost impressive.

      • Lol, it’s practically a feature at this point. Like if Fallout 4 came out and was bug free, everyone would be like, “Wait, something’s wrong…”

    • DesmaX

Surprisingly enough, Neptunia Victory Demo did run fine on my PS3 (No framerate problems at all).

I know it was installed on my PS3, but it seems like they stepped their game up

    • Godman

Also set an option for link attacks and fix that slow down you get when you or the enemy is attacking, those are my only kinks

  • Zeidge

The first had good ideas… but execution wasn’t that great and was too overly complex for its own good. If they just improve and polish on their previous one, it would be a pretty good game.. I think.

  • Pythia Brixham

I still do not like the display. I like it when I can see everyone’s HP and MP so I know who needs healing. As much as I loved Mugen Souls, I hated that I had to press a button just to know everyone’s health. I know it is nitpicking, but I am just saying it would be nice to see everyone’s status.

  • DesmaX

I just hope they make good dungeons this time around.

Searching for Master Points is a pain in the ass

  • Yuriangels

as long they fix the mugen kill , its first day for me

  • RoxasTheUnknown1

Needs a beefier post game with post final bosses like the Disgaea games. The first was good but other than trophies than almost no incentive to continue. Moe kills(if theyre there need to work faster). Regardless its day one for me but itd be nice to have stuff fixed.

    • DesmaX

Mugen Souls had post-game bosses, actually.

You just need to get True Ending

      • RoxasTheUnknown1

I did. I dont consider True routes post game. Its still main story. Post game like Uber Prinny Baal or something. The true final boss is lv 250. Im 6000ish.__.

        • DesmaX

Not even the Sun Goddess? Or maybe some free DLC battles?
(I’m still working on the True Ending route)

          • RoxasTheUnknown1

Theres nothing. Just the Mugen Field which scales with your level.

          • DesmaX

            … Oh

          • RoxasTheUnknown1

That being said. Like Disgaea, Mugen Souls is a fun grinders game. I’m enjoying reaching lv 9999 and seeing just how much dmg I can do. xD But yeah. I agree with your other post. More fleshed out worlds(towns, NPCs doing stuff) instead of empty monster filled areas and a real post game would help this series out a lot imo. It wouldnt hurt either.

          • KuroNathan

they released a few extra post game fights on the PSN for free back in nov

  • “Ryuto is carrying Shirma on his shoulders while she uses two other characters as weapons.”

The awesome from that scene is too great lol

  • Nee Nee

Art looks a lot cleaner this time around.
    Only makes it better.

  • Godman

I hope they put more effort in the Peons (Biggest gripe the voicing!) I pretty much played the entire first game using only my peons

  • Gildohma

I only have one simple wish… that I can change the on-screen character at least to my created character

  • Too bad I never got the chance to play the first Mugen Souls, thanks to a fuck up by the people at GAME UK.

  • I hope the level cap is 99999 :D
