Siliconera procured more artwork from EA Chicago’s unreleased Marvel fighting game. A teaser video showed Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and the Hulk were characters in it. New leaked artwork reveals plans to put Dark Phoenix and Thor into the brawler.

Earlier, Siliconera revealed the game’s control scheme, which had weak attacks, strong attacks, a sprint move assigned to the left trigger, and a super power modifier button.

Seems like there were a good few comic book-based games going around at some point, and given the recent explosion in the movies’ popularity it kind of makes sense.

Digging up a lot of cancelled games recently, aren’t we? It’s interesting to see what could’ve been, and that there’s more games going around that what actually comes out.

Its nice to see Marvel were still pushing the same kinds of characters Marvel vs Capcom 3 had.

pushing…the characters in MvC3 only got in because of movies that were coming out besides some who of course are fan favorites which what the 2007 probably was just doing
