Remember Capcom’s Remember Me? New Video Shows Nilin In A Boss Fight

By Spencer . January 8, 2013 . 10:09am

Remember Me from Dotnod Entertainment and Capcom takes place in 2048. You play as Nilin, a memory hunter in Neo-Paris, who has her memories erased. Fortunately, Nilin remembers how to fight otherwise this battle against Kid Xmas, which is televised live on the Neo-Paris TV network would be a lost cause. Players can rearrange Nilin’s strikes to create their own custom combos in Remember Me.

Remember Me is slated for release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

    1. I’m loving the art design in this game

    2. Inception?

  • eilegz

looks interesting this new IP, sure too much ac and batman wannabe but at least we have a decent and different topic and art style

    • EisKonig

*sigh* Seriously, the “This-Is-Assassin’s-Creed-Revamped” subject already :(?

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Looks cool.^_^ Can’t wait for the game.

  • Because of the futuristic theme similarities, I hope the boss battles are better than Deus Ex’s. The game is looking good, though.

Capcom are getting behind some good-looking games.

There is something stopping me from liking this game 100%. I’m liking it somewhere between 70%-80% though, so it’s no biggie.

PD: “All this years and you are still choosing the losing side…” – Does he mean how Capcom picked up the franchise?

  • EisKonig

I’m counting minutes to this release. I’ve been in the hype for Remember Me ever since the first footage and I just love everything about it, design, story, mechanics… Day One buy, doubtless.

  • Neophoton

Really liking how this game is looking so far! I’ll be eager to try it out.

  • I couldn’t help it. I had to do it! XD

  • I don’t remember this game.

  • Lexaus_the_Alchemist

More and more games are using that “brawl-a-group-of-enemies-in-a-circular-pattern-with-combos-and-counters“ style, like Batman:AA and AC. Hopefully they can make their style a bit more different.

In any case, another early summer title lessen the drought.

    • Curan_Altea

The actual combat seems much more in depth then Assassins creed, which is basically just counters and no real combos. Actual customizeable combos and different finishes should keep it fresh and interesting.

    • That’s a 3D Beat-em-up for you! :D

  • Göran Isacson

Looking pretty neat. Dialogue felt cheesy as hell though, but as long as the story itself is good I can bear cheesy, overwrought lines.

  • The environment looks great. Really looking forward to this game.

  • neetyneety

Truly, a game to be remembered.

What about Remember11? I’ve never played it so I’m just going by its name.
