Square Enix and DeNA’s social game Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade has a plethora of classes. The basic classes are straight from the original Final Fantasy – fighter, monk, thief, white mage, black mage, and red mage.

Here’s a look at the advanced classes in Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade.

From left to right – Geomancer, Hunter, Magic Knight, Berserker, Paladin, Dark Knight< Dragoon, Dancer, Ninja, Samurai, Rune Knight, and Viking.

Sword Saint, Karateka, Blacksmith, Machinery, Gambler, Assassin, Blue Mage, Acrobat and Orator. Not pictured: Soldier, Necromancer, Scholar, Thaumaturge, Devout, Yojimbo, and Freelancer.

That’s a lot of jobs! Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade has been quite successful for Square Enix and DeNA with over a million users registered in less than a month. In Japan, you can even by Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade branded Mobacoin cards. The game is also out now in North America and Europe via iTunes and Google Play.

  • I’ve just started playing it last week. While the lack of sound and BGM is bothering, I find the game fun.

  • efholic

The game is crazy competitive and justifiably so; I’ve been playing since launch and enjoy is greatly, but the money people dump on this game [daily] is ridiculous. Whoever thought up this game should be rewarded.

    Love the female dancer though.

    • Nee Nee

It’s the ONLY, I repeat, the ONLY social game I’ve ever been able to bear. Overall, the game is pretty fun. But as you mentioned, competitive game = people are throwing tons of cash at their screen. I can tell because this week I’m on the #1 Brigade and every time we encounter a monster it disappears within minutes…

      • efholic

Yes, this last day for the FF XIII-2 event was exceptionally entertaining. The brigade we fought had someone inching towards the top 10 and spent around $500 in about 8 hours to secure a spot.

Then the awards were distributed and I laughed; I’m glad the game is a success.

  • Corey Owens

Isn’t this the game with no sound?

  • MikeTxn

I really want to play this, just look at those classes!
Makes me wonder how many will be available in a future FFT/FFTA

  • Christian Wright

where are the black characters?! ;_; don’t be funny and say vivi either >:|

    • puchinri

I found the lack of any kind of diversity (at last for the jobs) odd before I realized (fairly early in) that it was all probably the same character, but classes tend to change them a lot (like in Tactics, etc).

A better question would be, where is any other kind of physical feature in the game? x’D
Then again, this sounds like it works for the game~.

      • Christian Wright

and on top of that, with all the awesome music that the final fantasy series has, there’s absolutely no sound :/

        • puchinri

Haha, that is another minus toward it. As fun and cute as it looks (and apparently is indeed addictive), I would be disappointed by all that.

  • I was a RDM but then I switched to BLM and I haven’t changed since. I’m afraid to change into something that isn’t INT based since all the abilities I’ve enhanced are INT ones.

  • Elvick

I was wondering why I couldn’t find this on Square Enix’s list of games. It’s listed under a different developer, on Google Play at least.

Was trying to find it, but forgot the name… whatever, installing. Won’t spend a dime on it, but we’ll see what it’s liek.

  • Rohan Kishibe

seriously only one job level before i get sword saint. so excited

  • Barrit

I love this game. The events are addicting. The latest one ended last night after 2 weeks. It’s nice to get a lil break lol. I’m aiming for Assassin, but working on Ninja for now.

If you decide to join, use my invitation ID: f5d1e035. They got a promo and we’ll both get rewards (an ability and Lightning summon) if you like the game and login 3 times :)

  • Wait. “The game is also out now in North America and Europe via iTunes and Google Play.” I’m from Italy and the iTunes Store says that this item is not available in my country. Why.

  • Liz W

If you’re looking to start playing, use the invite code 7d980f6a, you’ll start out with some extra gil potions and a super rare lightning summon :)
