How ’bout giving us that Jojo demo, CC2? Oh well, I’ll try this out.

Wow! We get a Japanese game, BEFORE Japan does? Now I`ve seen that too…

    • Shogunreaper

Nothing new, The US(Along with everywhere else) got the first storm game months before japan.

      • Sergio Briceño

A game for a 5 years old story arc. So hardly an example.

        • Shogunreaper

Doesn’t matter how old the material is, its still a Japanese game that was released everywhere else first, its a perfect example.

          • Sergio Briceño

Nope. Generally games of currently being aired anime cover just as much as the anime or less. NUNS is an example of that because it covered a very old story arc, one that we had covered countless of times in the west and that didn’t matter we get first that much.

This time around, unless I’m mistaken, we are getting both future western and japanese anime content ahead of Japan. Now that is unheard of (Ok, it has happened before too but it’s very rare). So no, it isn’t a perfect example.

Actually, my guess for them holding it up in Japan is that they don’t want to spoil the anime for anime only viewers. That is if the game is indeed already complete by the time they release it outside. It doesn’t really matter that much what part of the anime the west is currently watching, because there are only a handful of legal ways to be up to date (like Crunchyroll). In the end the publisher in the west is facing two decisions: get the anime only viewers in the west spoiled or make them wait another year (unlike Japan, which only has to wait a couple of months).

Or it could be the other reason I listed below, and we are getting some content locked up, while Japan gets a full product. But I really think that what I listed above is the only reason.

          • Shogunreaper

None of that matters, he was surprised that we are getting a game before japan, like its never happened, and i stated that it did.

I’m not going to debate on whether or not the amount of story that is covered matters, because it doesn’t.

          • Sergio Briceño

You should learn to understand sarcasm when you read it. I know, there is a trick to it because there is a special intonation when you hear it, but he was clearly stating it didn’t surprise him at all.

“Now I`ve seen that too…” See? He wasn’t surprised. So again, comment invalid.

And just so this keeps topic related because you are clearly taking it elsewhere: I really want that Hinata costume, I hope it somehow makes it out of Japan, I don’t even care if it’s as DLC.

          • Shogunreaper

Maybe you should learn to understand the meaning of words before you use them, you can’t tell intonation from text on a computer screen.

But even if it was sarcasm my point is still valid within the context of his statement.

          • Sergio Briceño

Dude. Chill out. Again, you failed at understanding sarcasm.

I was implying you indeed understand it when you hear it and it was difficult to you when you read it, because you didn’t get what the guy you replied to said (even though you said you did).

Now I’m even doubting you get sarcasm at all… You obviously can’t tell intonation from text. That’s why I said you should try to understand it, that there is a trick to it because it’s different from when you hear it.

Just so I can be sure I don’t waste my time replying anymore, just tell me I’m not dealing with a 12 year old. On second thought, please tell me you are 10 or something so I don’t bother replying again.

And no, your comment is still invalid. BECAUSE it was sarcasm. Just so you get it, whatever you think someone was saying when they used sarcasm, they meant the opposite. There, I hope it’s clear to you now. Now go out there and start spreading the word…

PD: Just so we keep on topic… I hope that bijuu mode this time around let’s you become giant, like in the anime/manga, at least in boss fights.

@Shogunreaper:disqus Enough from both sides of this. Leave things be.

          • Shogunreaper

Did he say it was sarcasm? I don’t see where he did.

I understand perfectly what he said, that’s why i responded to it saying what i did. He’s surprised (Sarcastic or not) that the we get a Japanese game first, i said it was nothing to be surprised about because it’s happened before, how is that not a valid response to his comment?

    • KrazyBean

The Ultimate Ninja Storm series is more popular in the west, that’s why the US and the UK are a priority for this game instead of Japan.

      • revivegamesrise23

you are right my friend! this is going to be the Best Naruto ultimate series yet! can’t wait for the demo next month! Naruto nation, Let’s get hyped!!

    • Sergio Briceño

Maybe some content will be locked up for the west, while Japan will have everything from the get go. I mean, I haven’t watched the anime in a while, but I’m pretty sure most of the game story is at least a year from airing.
