3DS_LuigisMansionDM_0117_02Famitsu has tidbits about Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon and mentions the Nintendo 3DS game will have multiplayer modes. Famitsu says Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will support download play, local play, and some form of Internet support.

Excerpts from the article so far talk about the DarkĀ  Light (which is actually a rainbow light) that reveals hidden doors and other objects.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is scheduled to come out in North America on March 24 on Nintendo 3DS.

Correction: A previous version of this report stated that the game featured online multiplayer, which is not confirmed. We’ve corrected our report to reflect this.

    download play i knew it:)

So by this logic, the Bright Light makes things darker.
And please tell me I won’t be the only one imaging the Ghostbuster’s theme playing in the background while you play multiplayer lol

…wait, why “woo”? I didn’t know I was so excited about this game…
I think I’m just hyper over all. SO MUCH GOOD NEWS!! *[]*//

Huh, I wonder how that’s gonna work. Nintendo doesn’t normally do too much online multiplayer type things, and the original Luigi’s Mansion didn’t do multiplayer at all. I’ll be curious to learn what’s going on here. I don’t see the design lending itself to multiplayer all that much – though a ghost busting horde mode type thing would be utterly ridiculous in a good way.

      Until you cross the streams…

  • riceisnice

This is the least likely Nintendo game I thought I’d see online multiplayer in.

  • neetloaf

If the online multiplayer is even half as fun as the Nintendoland attraction, then GOD help us all.

  • Haseyo

Well it doesn’t hurt the game so I’m down with it.

Dark light. Because Rainbow Light is too mainstream.
