We’re always curious to see what Taito is doing. Even though Square Enix absorbed the company, Taito kind of does their own thing. Most of Taito’s recent work has been for smartphones with games like Groove Coaster Zero and DariusBurst Second Prologue.
Their most recent title is different – Taito just released Gang Connection in Japan with GREE as the publisher. Gang Connection is a free to play simulation game where you are a mob boss and you place buildings just like other social games. The goal is to expand your influence and take over the neon-lit Sunshine City by battling rival gangs. Gang Connections has missions and you spin a bullet chamber to pick your mission.
Interesting to see this from Taito! I wonder if Bub and Bob will make a cameo in Gang Connection with leather jackets and sunglasses to fit into Sunshine City.
