Hamster is reviving one of Japan’s oldest platform heroes, but since Ninja JaJaMaru-kun games weren’t released overseas you might not recognize the red ninja. And if you do you might imagine him to be spinach green from his appearance in Maru’s Mission, one of the two localized Ninja JaJaMaru-kun titles.

Ninja JaJaMaru-kun: Princess Sakura and the Secret Fire Breathing Dragon lets you play as JaJaMaru-kun or Shizuha. Both characters have to save Princess Sakura who has been kidnapped again. This time by a catfish! Famitsu showed screenshots of three stages in the game. The first level (pictured aboe) is designed to teach players the basics. Stage two takes players to a bamboo forest and stage three has an 805 black cow as a boss.

I really hope they will bring this game here. More 2d side crolling would be nice.^^
Especially when this game is used as aspiration for Haggleman.^_^

Never played the original games, but the spritework here is cute enough that I hope this comes stateside! Even an eShop release would be pretty cool.

Just a couple things I noticed:
That first paragraph is really confusing, a couple sentences seem to contradict.
And second paragraph “(pictured aboe)” I’m guessing aboe should be above.
