God Eater 2 Lets You Import God Eater Burst Save Data

By Spencer . February 18, 2013 . 12:51am

imageHave God Eater Burst? You can transfer your save data into God Eater 2. The sequel is slated for release on PSP and PlayStation Vita later this year.

Sony also announced between February 28 to March 31, users will be able to use the UMD passport feature to transfer the God Eater Burst PSP game to Vita for free. UMD Passport allows players to register a UMD game and download a digital copy via PSN. While there are a few free UMD Passport titles, most games require a fee for a Vita compatible digital version. That’s a nice push for the God Eater series leading up to the sequel.

Such smart moves are what sell systems Sony, please, keep rolling out the good news, its making my day. I am so glad I can play with my character on the sexy Vita screen

I saw Burst in the title and got excited for NA. I forgot It was called GEB in Japan too

  • Cool, now all we need is a localization date.

Meh, I don’t think UMD Passport works for US games anyway.

Why do people still want us to give them money if they deny us of things we want that are easily within their power to do? I mean, they’re a business. Asking people for money by giving them stuff they would want is pretty much their job.

On topic, I seriously hope this gets localized somehow. It’s looking more and more awesome, and otherwise I might have to learn Japanese or something (which would work out great in the long run, but I’m currently learning a different language right now, and I think three may already be a bit too much to fully handle.)

I guess that gives me some added incentive to pick up the first game.

  • Japan only right? don’t think the US got the passport

  • Oltheros

Would kill to have this localized for the Vita.

    Unless its dub-only, of course.
